Bonsai Prep is an AI-powered SAT preparation platform that provides adaptive practice questions, AI tutoring, progress analytics, and visual learning tools. The Service is available at bonsaiprep.com and through associated applications.

2. Account eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 16 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service. Users aged 16 and older may create accounts independently. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service responsibly. You must not:

• Attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service
• Share access tokens, credentials, or impersonate other users
• Share your account with others or allow multiple people to use a single account
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
• Reproduce, redistribute, or sell any content from the Service
• Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

4. Subscription and billing

Bonsai Prep offers a free tier with access to core features. Paid subscription plans may be offered in the future with additional features and content. If you subscribe to a paid plan:

• Billing occurs on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at checkout
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Prices may change with reasonable advance notice

5. Refund policy

For paid subscriptions, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial purchase. After this period, payments are non-refundable. To request a refund within the eligible period, contact us through our Support page.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Service—including questions, explanations, images, software, and design—is owned by Bonsai Prep or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you provide (e.g., practice responses, profile information). You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

7. Educational disclaimer

Bonsai Prep provides learning tools, practice questions, and AI-generated guidance. Score improvements and results vary by individual and are not guaranteed. The Service is a supplement to, not a substitute for, formal education, professional tutoring, or school instruction. "SAT" is a registered trademark of the College Board, which is not affiliated with Bonsai Prep.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bonsai Prep and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or harmful activity, or for any reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
