  • Payment processing — Stripe processes payments securely; we do not store your full credit card details
  • AI services — AI providers that power tutoring features (questions and responses may be processed by these services)

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention records may be kept for up to 2 years).

  • Right to know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect
  • Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information

Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. When we transfer data outside of the EEA or UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

11. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie consent banner or your browser settings.

  • Access controls and authentication requirements for internal systems
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
